Liljedahl (2020), stated in his Building Thinking Classrooms book, “a thinking student is an engaged student”. Oftentimes, Mathematics teachers initiate the class using direct teaching. Mathematics teachers have the objectives to fully cover the topics prepared on hand, but they seemed to forget how the initial part has something to bring them to think first.
