You might have appeared for a psychometric test in your class or in your job application process. I used to teach these things in my business studies class. In these types of tests, you will be given a set of questions, which you have to answer in points either from 1 to 10 or from Strongly agree to Strongly disagree. The person or organization giving you the test, have the automated score list and their associated personality type with them. And, this is how they got an idea about your personality.
Yesterday I came across a website 16 Personalities, take approximately 10-12 minutes to tell you about your personality. I tried and I found myself as a protagonist. You can also try. The 16 Personalities are divided into four types:
